ABOUT B.A.S.
Law Firm B.A.S. ("Business Attorney Service") was established in 2000 by a group of professional lawyers (attorneys) of Uzbekistan for rendering legal services to native and foreign companies.
The history of creation law firm "B.A.S." is closely related to the history of establishment and economic activity of one of the largest banks of the Central Asia - the National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan (NBU), as B.A.S. founders are the lawyers who form the core of Legal Department of the NBU and have been working there since the moment of foundation of NBU in 1991.
Today law firm "B.A.S." consists of 10 highly qualified attorneys who received legal education in the leading law schools of Uzbekistan, Russia and Ukraine. Our attorneys have valuable work experience in banking and finance, corporate issues and commercial transactions, as well as in litigation. Most of them worked as lawyers in large companies, international organizations, and in state authorities (such as prosecution office, courts, and government departments).

The National Bank FEA of Uzbekistan — one of the leading financial institutions in the Central Asia has been one of the main clients of B.A.S. since 2000. Our attorneys have rendered the NBU legal service on day-to-day basis for many years in all the issues arising in the activity of the Bank including the issues of project finance, financing of small and medium business, financing procurement of equipment (technologies), attraction of loans, granting of different types of credits, leasing, bank guarantees, pledges and guarantees, export-import (trade) financing, property complexes sale contracts, syndicated financing, etc.
Legal service is expressed in consultations, elaboration of draft contracts (agreements), legal analysis of projects, Technical and Economic Assessment, Preliminary Technical and Economic Calculation, business plans, contracts for delivery of equipment, technique, building, issue of legal opinions on transactions, analysis of corporate and other documentation, creation of preliminary condition and necessary approvals of transactions.
Our lawyers have a great experience in advising of debts recovery, arising from credit obligations, contracts for delivery and service.
Besides the NBU, for settlement of some of the abovementioned issues such leasing companies as JV JSC UzCaseagroleasing, JV Uzavialeasing as well as insurance company JV JSC UzAig had recourse to services of B.A.S.
